The Croswell City Council met in Special Session February 27, 2006, at Croswell City Hall, 
100 N. Howard Ave., Croswell, MI.  Mayor Black called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.   

Present: C. Black, G. Macklem, M. Willis, D. Hugdahl, M. O’Vell
Administration: City Administrator Dave Tait, City Clerk Suzanne Dobson, Electric Supervisor Jack Williams

I.  BUSINESS:

a.  Budget Issues:

Discussion of the following items were held:

General Fund - limiting transfer amount from Utilities fund.
Substation Upgrade - $750,000 to $1,000,000 - Jack Williams explained the transformer loads
Retirement Windows being opened and offered
Inter Department loans, Fire Dept. and Library loans to Electric
Equipment Rental changes for General Fund.  Changes for equipment purchases will be reviewed.
Grass, Leaves and Brush pickup needs to be set for Monday and Friday and the City needs to  
stick to these days, come up with other procedures for pick up so the DPW is not doing pickup everyday.
M90 Bike Path maintenance - will take before the Bike Path Committee having 
Croswell D.P.W. maintaining the bike path.
Library need to decrease their request from the City for the budget.  
City Administrator will be meeting with the Librarian this week.  Review hours of operation.
Police - Review the hours of police dept. - 24hours/7 days .  Possibility that the 
School will not contract for a Liaison Officer for the next school year.

Will schedule another meeting to discuss budget issues of the other funds.
